It got the point across with some interesting graphics via maps, but it was kind of plain in the delivery of the facts.

This is an amazingly beautiful book on the migration of Monarch butterflies from Canada down to Mexico. I love this book and so do all my grandies.

This was a free Nook download, but I think if my son had asked for me to pay for it I would have. It kept his interest, which is always a task. He doesn't often pick nonfiction, so it was an exciting new choice. As a level 3 book, it had longer sentences though still fairly simple and more details.

The illustrations combined photos with realistic art to show the butterflies' journey. It also had maps, which was useful for showing the little guy where we live in relation to the journey. Overall, it was a fun, educational read. I rather enjoyed it. This book I scooped up was my favorite Kindle download so far, and I loved everything about this delightful, fantastic book.

User reviews 6 Review. Top review. A Truly Awesome Film. I saw this film about 1. Wonderful film - it felt like you were actually there with the 3D. I have raised Monarch butterflies for 47 consecutive years as of summer , and in the s I sent Dr. Urquhart a letter about my monarch raising and received a kind, encouraging letter back from him in return which I will always cherish and be grateful for. I can only imagine how Dr. Urquhart felt when he found his tagged butterfly-he must have felt as if the heavens opened before him!
